Firefighting related facilities include fire pipe networks, fire water towers, distribution rooms, distribution lines, etc. According to statistics from the Fire Department, over 78% of the huge economic losses and casualties caused by fires are due to poor management of fire-fighting facilities. The fire protection system is aging, there are design defects, manual maintenance and inspection are not timely, and various fire protection systems are ineffective.
In response to the above issues, Homtecs M2M Technology adopts the Internet of Things technology of "cloud"+"pipe"+"end". Through the fire pipe network monitoring system, electrical line monitoring system, escape door monitoring system, and comprehensive management cloud platform, it realizes 7x24 hour remote real-time monitoring and management of fire protection facilities, avoids hidden dangers in equipment arrangement, reduces operation and maintenance costs, and minimizes manual inspection efforts, thereby achieving the goal of safety, stability, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
The on-site core equipment of the scheme adopts the Homtecs M2M RT52 4G RTU gateway. The equipment supports 4G remote data transmission, Ethernet interface, WiFi interface, RS232/485 sensor access, analog input, digital input, relay output, local data storage, and local edge computing. Can be connected to various detectors, alarms, sensors, and monitoring cameras on site.
